Riot already has a date for the fifth set of its League of Legends TCG: Riftbound Radiance releases on October 23, 2026 with 180 cards, nine new champions, and Seraphine and Evelynn as the faces of the launch. They presented it during the Vancouver Regional Qualifier and have been releasing data ever since: number of cards, products, preview dates, and even the 2027 roadmap. Here is everything confirmed to date, separated from what is still a rumor, from collector to collector. If you are new to this game, start with our guide on what Riftbound is and come back here.

Riftbound Radiance Dates: previews, Pre-Rift, and release
This is the schedule, coming directly from Riot:
- September 25 to 27: the preview season kicks off at the Los Angeles Regional Qualifier, followed by daily reveals until October 9.
- October 16 to 22: Pre-Rift events in stores, the equivalent of a pre-release, where you can play the set one week early.
- October 23, 2026: worldwide release.
The set code is RAD and the official hashtag is #RBRadiance, which is where the new cards will appear each day of the preview season.
180 cards, 66 Showcases, and nine new champions
Radiance brings 180 cards, 66 of which are Showcase versions, Riftbound's alternate art. It is a medium-sized set: larger than Vendetta (166) and far from the 346 that Legacy will have in January. The important thing is the nine new Champion Legends, and there are currently five confirmed:
- Seraphine, the star of the set and the booster pack. Her revealed card, Not Alone, debuts Recruit tokens: every time you play or exhaust her, she places a Recruit unit with 1 Might into your base.
- Evelynn, Seraphine's rival in the Showdown Deck. Her In Control card is the other headliner.
- Ekko, with the card Ingenious, illustrated in mid-jump with the blue energy arcs of Piltover.
- Jarvan IV and Ziggs, who appear in the display art alongside Seraphine and Ekko.

Seraphine Not Alone (RAD 138/167), Evelynn In Control, and Ekko Ingenious. Evelynn and Ekko are the textless versions shown by Riot in the reveal. Cards in English, official images.
The other four champions are being saved for the preview season. Riot has also teased that there is a new unrevealed Ultimate Rare, the highest rarity introduced in Unleashed, and that Shen is receiving a new support card. The look of the set, with broken crystals and flashes, can already be seen in the packaging.
All Radiance products
The product line follows the Vendetta pattern, with one novelty in the booster pack:
- 14-card booster packs and 24-pack display boxes, with Seraphine, Ekko, Ziggs, and Jarvan as cover art. If it repeats the price of previous sets, the display will cost around 120 dollars in the United States.
- Showdown Deck Seraphine vs. Evelynn: two pre-constructed 56-card decks, two booster packs, two playmats, and a rulebook. Recommended price in the United States: 34.99 dollars. This is the product to start playing with two people on the same day.
- Radiance Vault: six booster packs, one rune pack, and three tokens.
- Pre-Rift Kits for stores, with nine different pre-constructed decks for the events from October 16 to 22.
Prices are those recommended in the United States, so in Spain each store sets its own RRP. And an important language note: Radiance is the first Riftbound set to be released simultaneously in English, Simplified Chinese, and French. There is still no Spanish edition, so what will reach stores here is the English product.
Gift of the Rift Bundle: the first anniversary pack, with Radiance inside
Six weeks after Radiance comes the other big product of the fall: the Gift of the Rift Bundle, announced by Riot on August 3 to celebrate the game's first year and dated for December 4, 2026 in game stores and major retailers. It is a box designed as a gift and contains:
- 16 booster packs from the first five sets: 3 from Origins, 3 from Spiritforged, 3 from Unleashed, 3 from Vendetta, and 4 from Radiance.
- 36 foil basic runes, six of each type.
- An exclusive alt-art Akali, Rogue Assassin (VEN 139a/166 P), with new art by Luscinia Studio and Allen Song in which she appears eating a bowl of noodles in the snow. It maintains the Empower 1 from the Vendetta version. The Chinese edition swaps the Akali for an alt-art Kennen.
- 100 sleeves with the same Akali art and a storage box for 2,000 cards.

The price has not yet been announced. For someone starting at Christmas, it is the most direct way to try all five sets at once, and for the collector, the exclusive Akali is the real reason to purchase.
What comes next: the 2027 roadmap
Alongside Radiance, Riot has shown the full plan for next year, and it is ambitious:
- Legacy (set 6), January 29, 2027: 346 cards and 93 Showcases, the game's largest set to date, with Ashe, Garen, Heimerdinger, Illaoi, Karma, Lux, Tryndamere, and Vladimir among the champions. The booster pack changes: one of the seven commons is replaced by a Legend or Battlefield slot.
- Proving Grounds Second Edition, February 19, 2027: four decks (Heimerdinger, Karma, Vladimir, and Illaoi), giant battlefields, playmats, and counters for 40 dollars, in English, Chinese, French, and Korean.
- The Reckoning (set 7), April 30, 2027: 264 cards with Aurelion Sol, Cho'Gath, Shyvana, Vayne, and Zilean.
- Set 8 in Bandle City (yordles) for the third quarter and set 9 in Bilgewater for the fourth.
Our opinion at Collectowny
With the data in hand, Radiance is the Riftbound set that interests us most since Origins, not because of its size but because of the appeal of its champions: Seraphine, Evelynn, and Ekko are three of the characters with the most followers outside of the game itself, and that in a young TCG translates into highly sought-after Showcases. Our specific recommendation: if you are going to start, the Showdown Deck of Seraphine vs. Evelynn is the best value purchase at a recommended price of 35 dollars, with two playable decks and two booster packs. If you already play or collect, wait for the remaining four champions and the Ultimate Rare to be revealed before deciding how many displays you want, because the preview season ends on October 9 and by then you will know if the set has a truly expensive card. And keep an eye on Legacy in January: 346 cards and a booster pack change right after Radiance will spread many people's budgets thin, so the first wave of Radiance is the one you need to grab.

Prepare for Radiance from the first pack
Riftbound has had five sets in one year, and Radiance looks to be the most sought-after so far. Riftbound cards are standard size, so the sleeves and toploaders from the accessories collection will work for you from the very first pack. From collector to collector: in a new TCG, the first Showcases are the ones that are hard to find later.
